Blending poetry and spectacle, Léonardo, Dreams and Nightmares offers a journey into the heart of the imagination of one of humanity's greatest visionaries.

To speak of Leonardo da Vinci – what a bold claim! This man, who embraced so many fields of knowledge, arts, and techniques, was constantly exploring, observing, and questioning the world around him. From his insatiable thirst for understanding, we remember his boundless curiosity, that quest for knowledge which he recorded in thousands of pages: the codices.

Through a dialogued dream, Salaï, his disciple, model, and lover, revisits the master’s work. He questions this moving knowledge, this thirst for infinity that drives Leonardo’s writings and inventions, revealing a world where science and art are one.

This performance is intended for a family audience, with intentions unlikely to generate conflicts or crowd movements. The performance must take place at night, without an intermission, and in a fixed location. The actor-manipulators of the inflatable structures interact with the audience during the show.
