A marine fable experienced in augmented reality
The Sunken Parade is a visual and sound-based walking performance that brings to life a procession of hybrid, colorful marine creatures, emerging from a submerged world. The parade also integrates a digital dimension: through the Augmented Carnival app, the audience can trigger augmented reality animations by scanning medallions placed on the costumes. Adaptable to various contexts (festivals, city centers, natural spaces), the parade can also include mask-making workshops, inviting children to join the procession with their own augmented accessories.
Chronicle of a submerged world
In the near future, the oceans will have been disrupted. One day, without warning, unknown marine creatures rise from the depths—aquatic chimeras, giant fish, mutant jellyfish... They roam through cities, searching for what they have lost: their habitat, their memory, their connection with humans. Guided by a mysterious voice from the abyss, they question us: What remains of our promises? Can we still repair the broken bond with the sunken worlds?
The parade tells the story of the return of these forgotten marine beings, making one last effort to awaken us—before it is too late.
